Upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift’s mid-spec variant spotted testing without ADAS

The country’s largest SUV maker, Mahindra Automotive, is gearing up for the launch of its newest iteration of its sub-compact SUV, XUV300. Recently, a new test mule of this SUV was spotted testing in the country, and it has been noted that it was a mid-spec variant. Prior to this test mule, we have seen a ton of spy shots of the top-spec variant of the XUV300 facelift. Most likely, the company will be launching this SUV in the first quarter of next year.

A video talking in detail about spotting the XUV300 facelift mid-trim has also been shared on YouTube by Harsh Vlogs on their channel. The presenter in the video shared the spy shots of the vehicle. He adds that there are a ton of different cues that suggest that this particular test mule is a mid-spec model of the XUV300 facelift. First off, from the spy pictures comparing the front ends of the two different test mules reveals a few important pieces of information. The main highlight of this new test mule is the absence of the ADAS module on the roof. The previous test mule spotted was seen with the ADAS sensors, suggesting that this new test mule is of the mid-spec variant. Apart from this, another major difference noted between the two test mules is the headlights.

The newly spotted test mule was seen equipped with a different set of headlights. This particular set had thicker LED DRLs and also had a projector headlamp. The previous mule was spotted with longer and thinner LED DRLs, and the main headlight unit was also LED. Apart from these differences, the rest of the front fascia was similar to the prior test mule.

The new rear end will get a set of connected LED taillights and will also get a new rear bumper as well.
