The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is one of those SUVs that may not have a huge market in India. However, the people who love it have no bounds. Recently, a video of India’s first Maruti Suzuki Jimny with a supercharger kit has been shared online. This particular Jimny, in total, has been given Rs 7 lakh worth of modifications. It now makes 130 bhp instead of the 104 bhp that the stock SUV makes.

Modifications done on this Maruti Suzuki Jimny
Following the introduction, the presenter starts with the list of exterior modifications done on this SUV. He states that it has been given a brand-new custom aluminum front bumper. It also gets new, more powerful fog lights, a winch, and some additional auxiliary lights. This bumper also helps in improving the approach angle of the SUV.
Next up, the host shows the newly added Suzuki grille. He adds that it has been painted in gloss black to add to the sinister appearance of this SUV. Next, he mentions that the car also gets black-painted side fenders.
Moving on to the side profile, he shows the newly added Method Racing wheels. These are high-end off-roading alloy wheels that are imported from the United States of America. He also adds that it gets a Tough Dog suspension as well.
Next, he highlights that this Jimny gets an Alpha Reisen roof rack finished in black as well. Lastly, it gets a custom rear bumper with twin exit exhausts.
Supercharger kit for Jimny
Following the exterior modifications, the presenter shows the main highlight of this Jimny. He opens up the bonnet and presents the newly supercharged engine. This particular supercharger kit has been imported from Australia. It has been manufactured by Bullet Supercharging.
It gets a new water-to-air intercooler, a new pulley system, and a new, bigger exposed air filter. Additionally, Bullet Supercharging provides this kit with a new header as well. There is also a fifth ignition coil and a bigger battery. It also gets a custom-made mid pipe and end can, which offers it a very unique exhaust note.
Price of Jimny Supercharger kit
The host, after showing the complete kit, mentions that it costs half the price of this car. This is around Rs 7 lakh. After mentioning this, he highlights that it now makes 130 bhp as opposed to the 104 bhp which the stock Jimny makes. He adds that it may not seem like a lot on paper, but the difference is felt on the road.
Interior modifications
The vlogger then shows the interior of the car. He states that it has been kept pretty much stock. It only gets a few minor accessories and new auxiliary switches placed overhead in the middle.
Driving impressions
After driving this Jimny, the vlogger mentions that immediately the difference can be felt. He states that this Jimny does not feel as underpowered as the stock SUV. It feels a lot more peppy and fun to drive. The host adds that it is not mind-bendingly quick, but it gets the job done. The exhaust also sounds great, but there is a slight drone inside the cabin, mentions the host.
