The Land Rover Defender has gained a cult following in India. This SUV, apart from being the favorite of every aspiring car lover, is also a favorite amongst Bollywood celebrities. The most recent Bollywood celebrity to bring home a brand-new Land Rover Defender is none other than Neha Kakkar. The popular singer and TV show judge has bought a Defender 110 HSE worth Rs 1.5 crore.

She was seen accompanied by her husband, Rohanpreet Singh. They were being photographed by the paparazzi. With this new purchase, Neha Kakkar has become the first-ever Bollywood singer to get a Land Rover Defender 110.
Neha Kakkar’s Defender 110 HSE
In the background, we can note the actress’s newest purchase – her Land Rover Defender 110. Neha Kakkar has chosen the popular and classy-looking Santorini Black shade for her SUV. The actress has also opted for the standard 20-inch alloy wheels finished in a silver color.
As per the reports, it is an HSE petrol variant of the Defender. However, the exact engine option chosen by the singer is unknown. The Defender 110 HSE comes with two engine options. Of these two, the first is a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine.
Meanwhile, the other is a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder mild-hybrid engine. The former produces a maximum power of 296 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the latter makes 394 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. Both cars get the same 8-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of the difference between the pricing of these two SUVs, the 2.0-liter HSE is priced at Rs 1.19 crore, while the 3.0-liter HSE is priced at Rs 1.52 crore. Now, which exact variant Neha has gone with is currently unknown.
Apart from the petrol HSE variants, Land Rover also offers the Defender HSE with a 3.0-liter diesel engine as well. This particular motor is a 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged power plant. It makes around 296 bhp and 650 Nm of torque. It also comes equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Land Rover Defender
Unlike its predecessor, the newest generation of the Defender comes equipped with loads of features. It comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and a head-up display.
Other features of this luxury SUV include a wireless phone charger, connected car features, a premium speaker system from Meridian, electrically adjustable front seats, and an electronic air suspension that can be raised at the touch of a button.
In addition, the Land Rover Defender also gets a 360-degree camera, heated front seats, blind-spot assist, and front and rear parking sensors. As for the safety equipment, it gets six airbags, ABS, traction control, leather upholstery, rubber flooring, and more.
